Caroline is an NHMRC Principal Research Fellow and Co-Program Director of Women and Children’s Health at the Burnet Institute in Melbourne. She also continues a long association with the University of Technology Sydney as a Visiting Distinguished Professor of Midwifery. She is the immediate Past President of the Australian College of Midwives.
More than 10 years ago when Women and Birth was established, Caroline was the first Deputy Editor. She then went onto to be Deputy Editor of Midwifery before returning in mid 2018 to be the Editor-in-Chief of Women and Birth.
