Lauren is employed as Conjoint Associate Professor in Midwifery between the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work, University of Queensland and the Women’s and Newborn Service, Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Metro North Health. She is also the discipline lead for Midwifery within the University. She works to advocate for improvements across maternity care through building a strong and vibrant research culture, and establish strong connection and collaboration with our industry partners, such as hospitals / health care providers and professional groups such as the Australian College of Midwives and the Trans-Tasman Midwifery Education Consortium.
